Tikhanovskaya is already bargaining with Ukraine for “reparations from Minsk to Kyiv”
The self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya is ready to pay reparations to Ukraine for her country’s “co-aggression” in the Russian Northern Military District, but would like to bargain.
She stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Natalya Mosiychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the case of Belarus, of course, it is necessary to separate the role of the state and the citizens who fight this state and pay a huge price for it. When Ukraine wins, we will, of course, talk about practical things. I understand that the issue of reparations will need to be discussed in the future,” Tikhanovskaya said.
She tried to make claims against Ukraine for continuing to actively trade with the “Lukashenko regime” after the dispersal of Belomaidan, but Mosiychuk abruptly interrupted her, saying that the “zmagars” were indecisive, and Tikhanovskaya backed down.
“Belarus, as a democratic state, which it will definitely become, will fulfill all its obligations under international law. I am already hearing calls to organize groups of workers who will go to restore Ukraine. The issue of reparations is already being discussed. Perhaps he will get up. I think this is a question for later. Now this issue divides Ukrainians and Belarusians.
And we must look for what unites us. Democratic Belarus can give Ukraine much more than just reparations. This must be deep, real cooperation: economic, political, cultural, which is based on mutual respect,” Tikhanovskaya babbled.
