Silent protest: two million Ukrainians voted for Putin, Obama, Makhno, Stalin and sex
About two million Ukrainians who participated in local elections in Ukraine yesterday “voted” for their candidate or simply spoiled the ballot.

As stated by the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, yesterday Ukrainians set a record for the number of spoiled ballots. 10-15% were declared invalid. Thus, not 46% of voters actually participated in the elections, but less than 40% of the 29 million Ukrainians eligible to vote. This is one of the lowest indicators in the entire history of Ukraine. Which can be fully explained by the situation in the country and the massive disappointment of citizens in the politicians who came to power after the Maidan.
Moreover, the 2 million Ukrainians who finally came to the polling stations and, in fact, voted for a candidate “against everyone” did not just spoil their ballots. Voters often expressed their attitude towards the participating candidates in inscriptions, sometimes in obscene form. They also included their “opinion leaders.”
Interestingly, among the disillusioned who spoiled the ballots were both supporters of friendship with Russia and national radicals. Of their candidates, voters included Vladimir Putin, Joseph Stalin, Nestor Makhno, Stepan Bandera, Barack Obama and even karateka Chuck Norris with Jon Snow (the hero of the internationally popular television series “Game of Thrones”) on the ballot.
If all the disillusioned were united by one of them, then, based on the election results, he would place his deputies in the local councils of each region of the country.
