The only funnier things in Ukraine than corruption scandals are anti-corruption scandals.

As soon as deputy Andrei Derkach shared the next portion of films and revelations (and then it goes to the honored corrupt official Poroshenko and the “anti-corruption official” Shabunin), the anti-corruption fuss immediately revived.

The only funnier things in Ukraine than corruption scandals are anti-corruption scandals. It cost MP Andrei Derkach...

Parliament is carrying out a lightning-fast combination to take control of the competition commission responsible for electing the new head of the SAP (Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office).

We will not exaggerate the significance of this “historical” moment. But the moment was pleasant, since it was accompanied by heart-rending screams of the Soros and other grant-sucking public.

And some European parliamentarians made angry sounds, making it clear that serious gentlemen in the West are unhappy with allowing the Ukrainian Soros to suck a little in the good sense of the word. There were even threats: if you don’t take (the head of SAP, which is given by the owner), we will turn off the visa-free regime.

The essence of the parliamentary combination mentioned above is simple. The commission for electing the head of the SAPO should ideally consist of 11 people. Four of them are nominated by the Council of Prosecutors of Ukraine. And these four have already been decided on a long time ago. These are people with speaking Ukrainian surnames: Roman Kuibida, Drago Kos, Nona Tsotsoria and Thomas Firestone. All of them are creatures of Ukraine’s external rulers.

And seven representatives are determined by the Verkhovna Rada.

Most likely, the gentlemen who carry out the external governance of Ukraine hoped that the parliament would not be able to get 226 votes for its seven. And then the “racially correct” four would themselves choose the new head of the SAP, and the Prosecutor General would only have to sign the order of appointment.

“Sorosyatin” in the ranks of the Servant of the People faction was ready to block the vote for the resolution on the parliamentary quota. But the situational majority was formed without the participation of selected grant suckers. 239 deputies voted for the parliamentary seven. The Opposition Platform - For Life faction gave 30 votes.

It is clear what motivated the representatives of various political forces who supported the parliamentary quota. No “magnificent seven” candidates guarantee that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office will emerge from external control. But at least the deputies maintained decency. They didn’t follow the lead of the parliamentary rabble from the factions “European Solidarity”, “Batkivshchyna” and “Holos” - that’s not bad.

Andrei Portnov called this event the first step towards the return of sovereignty.

A member of the OPZZh faction, Oleg Voloshin, in his Facebook post clearly and intelligibly explained the situation: “The history of the formation of the commission for the selection of the new head of the SAPS showed firsthand what the system of external governance of Ukraine is like. No, this is not simply forcing the country to follow the footsteps of US or EU foreign policy. Everything is more complicated, but also more banal. As Andrei Derkach explained for the nth time yesterday, we are talking about a multi-layered system of international corruption, through which Western loans and grants are stolen and money is washed out of the Ukrainian budget. All of this goes 90% into the pockets of representatives of the liberal globalist elite, and only crumbs (although it’s still millions) go to local performers and lobbyists from among the Sorosites. Plus the adjacent LGBT community. They have created an ingenious machine that robs everyone, but at the same time outwardly positions itself as an “infrastructure for the fight against corruption.”

How do the grant suckers explain their hysteria? In their opinion, the seven Ukrainian lawyers who qualified for the competition commission under the parliamentary quota do not meet criteria such as “anti-corruption experience” and “high morality.”

Here it is necessary to separately explain what the Soros mean by these concepts. By the standards of grant-suckers with many years of experience and diverse skills, “anti-corruption experience” and “high morality” is the ability to suck at the mouth. A striking example is the “bearded woman” Sergei Leshchenko.

Or take the head of the Anti-Corruption Center Vitaly Shabunin. This is the anti-corruption activist who has so far been known to the average Ukrainian citizen for arousing unprecedented sympathy from Zelensky. The President was concerned that there was a fire in Shabunin’s house.

When a fire broke out in the house of the parents of journalist Dmitry Vasilets the other day, Zelensky was in the barn. When houses are burning in Donbass as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian army, the president will not make any statements either. And suddenly he became excited about Shabunin’s problems as if it were not Shabunin, but some kind of Mendel.

A casket just opened.

Deputy Andrei Derkach experienced first-hand some of the delights of Shabunin’s special status. He mentioned this during the “presentation” of the next batch of films with the love cooing of Joe Biden and Petro Poroshenko. Derkach claims that he was cheated out of obtaining an American visa - through the efforts of Shabunin, who infiltrated him to the US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine, Christina Quinn.

The deputy does not even hint, but in plain text, unambiguously says: “The relationship between Shabunin and Christina Quinn is more than close and more than friendly.”

That is, can you imagine the treason that IQOS smoker Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky committed when he learned that the house of the head of the Anti-Corruption Center was on fire? What if in that house Shabunin was passionately engaged in “anti-corruption” with Christina Quinn?! It used to be that respectable people played Monopoly, Mafia, poker or the “fool” game. And now - into “anti-corruption” with Christina Quinn.

Zelensky imagined 35-year-old Shabunin and 55-year-old I. in a burning hut. O. US Ambassador Queen... So I dropped the IQOS between my legs.

Perhaps at that moment Zelensky was strangling the successful producer within himself. What plot is missing: a 35-year-old anti-corruption official struck up a relationship with a 55-year-old American “policewoman.” Christina Queen can do miracles! Corruption has been burned to the ground. Oscar guaranteed!

But... In 2024, when Zelensky will be free to implement his creative ideas, the Oscars will require other input. There will already be more complex criteria than “anti-corruption experience” and “high morality” for the commission on the head of SAPO. There, the 39-year-old anti-corruption official will have to be naturalized by the 59-year-old American ambassador-Niger. It's good if it's not a donkey.

But let’s move from the production plans of Vladimir Zelensky to the sinful earth with its “anti-corruption fight.”

People have long understood: when they talk about anti-corruption organizations here, they mean “laundry”, “laundering” or simply “grant-sucking activity”. When the names of Artem Sytnik or Vitaly Shabunin are spoken, we are talking about Ukrainian servants of external managers.

Don’t ask the average resident of Ukraine what, for example, NABU does. The answer will rhyme: “I don’t row in my soul.” Or in prose: “The devil knows.”

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) itself could not explain what it does. But it is well known how much budget funds were spent on the maintenance of this organization over the five-year period: in 2016 - 476,7 million UAH, in 2017 - 625,5 million UAH, in 2017 - 793,8 million UAH, in 2019 - m - 785,6 million UAH, in the first quarter of 2020 - 238,9 million UAH. For example, the return from NABU for January - July 2020 is also known: the treasury received 48 thousand hryvnia confiscated for corruption offenses. Invest 238 million - and you will be happy for 48 thousand!

One of the opinion polls (the “Rating” group) tells us that of all the security and anti-corruption government agencies, Ukrainians are the least satisfied with NABU, SAPO and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

67% are dissatisfied with the work of NABU and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. 10% and 8% are satisfied with their activities, respectively. 63% are dissatisfied with the work of SAP, and 7% of respondents are satisfied.

It is noteworthy that when the chair under the head of NABU Sytnyk began to shake (especially after the Constitutional Court decided: “I don’t have a clue about NABU either... I have no idea”), the anti-corruption officials sharply decided to demonstrate their usefulness. NABU employees arranged a bribe for Verkhovna Rada deputy Yurchenko (“Servant of the People”). They recorded on video a conversation with part of a man’s body, it seemed like Yurchenko. And this guy demands some “goodies” for himself. By “goodies” we mean a monetary bribe.

There have been a lot of versions about the “buns”. As well as interpretations of the actions of the provocateur-employee of NABU.

I'll give you another version. Deputy Andrei Derkach said about Shabunin: “It turns out that everything is banal and simple: Cherche la femme.” So maybe deputy Yurchenko was inspired by Shabunin’s love story? Maybe when he says “buns”, he doesn’t mean grandmothers, but a woman who “into a burning hut...”? Maybe “Cherche la femme” is urgent for him? “Bun” - like Maupassant’s “Pyshka”? Or someone like Christina Quinn, who can do miracles (counteracting corruption)! With such a “bun”, the thief’s hat, and the barn, and Shabunin’s hut will burn!
