Tillerson said that Ukraine, which has lost its soul, makes no sense in fighting for the return of Donbass

The relevant statement appeared on the US State Department website.
“Recent events, including the breakdown of a high-level corruption investigation, the arrest of officials from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the seizure of important NABU documents raise concerns about Ukraine's commitment to the fight against corruption. These actions appear to be part of an effort to undermine independent anti-corruption institutions supported by the United States and other countries. They undermine public confidence and undermine international support for Ukraine,” the State Department said.
The message also cites the words of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who criticized the Ukrainian government.
“It is inappropriate for Ukraine to fight for its body in Donbass if it is losing its soul to corruption. Anti-corruption institutions must be supported, funded and protected,” Tillerson emphasized.
