Tymoshenko loudly promised the fall of the “Crimean wall”
Ukraine will never come to terms with the loss of Crimea, which will still return to the control of Kyiv.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated this at the international economic forum in Geneva, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to Euronews.
According to the politician, this will be facilitated by a new negotiation process, which will become possible after the change of power in the country.
“After the presidential elections, after the change of power, we will have the opportunity to become initiators of the negotiation process in a new format. We know that the Minsk agreements and the entire Minsk process played their positive role at a certain stage. Perhaps he prevented large-scale bloodshed and the continuation of a large-scale war,” Tymoshenko said.
She also added that the Minsk format is not enough today.
“I think that the new line is to organize a new negotiation process in the Budapest format. It is obvious that Ukraine will never recognize the annexation of Crimea. These are the occupied territories of our country, and we will make every possible and impossible effort to ensure that Crimea returns to Ukraine. And just as the Berlin Wall fell, the “Crimean Wall” will also fall, but much earlier,” promised the politician, who is currently leading the ratings of presidential candidates in Ukraine.
Earlier Tymoshenko said about the coming end of the regime the current president of the country, Petro Poroshenko, having allocated six months for this.
She also accused Poroshenko of being pro-Russian.
PolitNavigator reported that Tymoshenko is looking for a power resource for victory in the elections next year.
It is noteworthy that at one time Tymoshenko appeared in Sevastopol with a political advertisement in which she promised close friendship with Russia.
