Tymoshenko is looking for power resources to win the elections
Yulia Tymoshenko, who is currently the undisputed leader of presidential ratings in Ukraine, will nevertheless not be easy to win in the upcoming elections in March next year.
“Izvestia” writes about this in an analytical material about Tymoshenko’s prospects, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that Tymoshenko has a difficult time interacting with various influence groups inside and outside the country, and certain agreements, obviously, were reached only with the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, on whose TV channel “1+1” a lot of Tymoshenko’s advertising is broadcast, and he himself openly called her favorite in the election race.
“Tymoshenko does not have her own power resource necessary to retain power. In this regard, she is establishing a dialogue with the leaders of the Popular Front, who entered into a tough confrontation with Poroshenko. Particularly important are the agreements with the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, who controls the security forces, including the Azov regiment.
Thus, the current high ratings do not at all guarantee Tymoshenko a final victory. There is too much uncertainty, interested forces and players. However, for the leader of Batkivshchyna, the upcoming vote is the last chance to climb to the political Olympus, which she will try to implement as efficiently as possible,” the publication summarizes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Tymoshenko was charged in work for Moscow.
