Tymoshenko wants the Rada to help Volker with the “peacekeepers”
The Verkhovna Rada should pass bills that will help quickly introduce peacekeepers into the conflict zone in Donbass, as US Special Representative Kurt Volker wants.

Yulia Tymoshenko (Batkivshchyna) stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Two weeks ago we had a visit by the US special representative to consider the issue of introducing peacekeepers. After meeting with him, I was convinced that the special representative wants to achieve the final result, and the negotiation process itself is not so important for them. It is this focus on achieving the final result, namely, the introduction of peacekeepers, stopping the shooting, stopping the killings, opening a political path to restore the territorial integrity of our country is very important. Parliament should help him with this. Such important mediation should have a response within the walls of parliament. Therefore, we are skeptical about the prospect of adopting a reintegration law that does not have a mechanism for the return of territory and people (or its existence at all). Today, when we have such mediation on the part of the US special representative, we must help and accept those documents that will help quickly bring peacekeepers into the conflict zone,” he said.
