Tymoshenko: Hundreds of enterprises are closing every day in Ukraine
because of economic and energy crisis Hundreds of enterprises are closing every day in Ukraine.
The leader of Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this during the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When I toured the regions this week, I met with our entrepreneurs, just people. They say hundreds of businesses are shutting down every day because their economies can't handle gas prices and electricity prices. She just can’t stand it,” Tymoshenko said.
She emphasized that in connection with this, inflation will inevitably break out in Ukraine soon.
“And the fact that inflation will start in the country, due to the fact that prices for energy resources - gas and electricity - are simply going through the roof - this is already obvious. I’m not even talking about people who don’t know where to get money for bread,” the deputy concluded.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv it was reported that most of the grain crop reserves had been removed from Ukraine, which in the near future could cause acute food crisis.
