Kyiv, September 13 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Experts predict victory for Petro Poroshenko’s party in the upcoming early elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this, in particular, at a press conference in Kyiv.

“The polls that took place raise serious doubts,” the expert emphasized. “But I know that in situations like these it is extremely difficult to conduct professional research.” However, referring to these data, we can say that, most likely, Poroshenko’s party will receive about a third of the votes on party lists. Lyashko is still in second place without competition. I don't see any circumstances that could lower his rating. On the contrary, the struggle of Kolomoisky’s 1+1 channel against him only adds points to him.”
But for third place, the struggle, according to the political scientist, will unfold between the political forces of Arseniy Yatsenyuk (Popular Front), Yulia Tymoshenko (Batkivshchyna) and Anatoly Gritsenko (Civil Initiative).
“It seems to me that Yatsenyuk can get more votes than Tymoshenko, but up to about 10 percent - as much as Gritsenko’s party can get. And the prospects for Svoboda, the communists, and the Opposition Bloc (the remnants of the Party of Regions - ed.) are problematic - about five percent. The rest of the parties hardly have a chance.”
