Tymoshenko is indignant: the IMF humiliated Ukraine and turned it into a colony
The new memorandum with the IMF completely transfers Ukraine to external management and turns it into a third world country.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yulia Tymoshenko stated this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Tymoshenko recalled that the memorandum implies the transfer of control over state-owned enterprises to supervisory boards consisting of foreigners and Ukrainian passport holders working for Western grants, as well as enslaving conditions for the sale of land and other points humiliating for the country.
“This memorandum actually provides for everything that is called the loss of Ukrainian sovereignty. Here, instead of returning to the government the right to manage state-owned objects, state monopolies, you understand what is happening in this memorandum - the supervisory boards are being strengthened, where 80-90% of us are foreign citizens.
That is, state monopolies, state property objects, which must pay 70-90% of their income to the state budget, were protected from the government, from the state, and we as a country, firstly, do not manage our state property, our state monopolies. Instead of closing corruption in customs and taxation, and closing this area, we are essentially selling off Ukraine.
You know that in this memorandum and on the land it is written down in detail that we must sell agricultural land this way and that. I can say that this memorandum is essentially such a humiliation of Ukraine, because Ukraine is treated here as a third world country, with which they do not consult, with which they discuss absolutely nothing, and in fact they introduce external control into all spheres of our life,” - said Tymoshenko.
