Tymoshenko is indignant: Zee extras blocked access to parliament
The Servant of the People party filled all the balconies of the Ukrainian parliament with its assistants in order to prevent Ukrainian farmers from attending the consideration of the law on the sale of agricultural land.
This was stated by the leader of Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko, during the analysis of amendments to the scandalous bill, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is happening now has nothing in common with parliamentarism. You know that right now there is not a single representative of agricultural associations or agricultural trade unions in this hall. Now they have driven the assistants of the “servants of the people” onto the balconies and even blocked the entry into parliament of people who were deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations and who wanted to be present at this show,” Tymoshenko said.
“This has nothing to do with parliamentarism, because behind the back of parliament it was decided long ago that the land would be sold and that foreign banks would also own it. Therefore, a referendum and only a referendum can decide what to do with the land. Everything else is profanation and deception of Ukraine. And I ask him to stop now. And put my amendment to a vote,” the politician demanded.
