Tymoshenko accused “patriots” of defrauding Ukraine
The old government continues to rob Ukraine and its people, and parliamentarians do nothing to stop it.
The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this at a meeting of the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are two plenary weeks left. Let's do something. But we see from the bills that even in these last two weeks something is being ripped off from people.
If we want to do something good for people, I would like to inform you that now in European markets natural gas already costs $118 per thousand cubic meters. On world markets, in the European market, the price has fallen by half, but here they continue to rip people off for $320,” the deputy said.
She also noted that, under the guise of a change of government, the seizure of Ukrainian strategic property continues - the gas transportation system, which is being transferred to PJSC "Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine" and driven to bankruptcy.
“Today the Accounts Chamber decided to begin studying this situation. I would like to remind you that there is bill 8107, proposed last year, which we can pass and stop the theft of the gas transportation system with the help of, among other things, the old government - Poroshenko and his entourage. Patriots are depriving Ukraine of its most valuable property, hiding behind patriotic slogans,” Tymoshenko concluded.
