Presidential candidate and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko uses “Kremlin manuals” in the fight against President Petro Poroshenko.
This was stated by Oleg Barna, a deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party, during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was deeply concerned by the statement released yesterday by Yulia Vladimirovna Tymoshenko - accusing the president of wanting to start a big war. This accusation is nothing more than a shameless application of the Kremlin’s propaganda methods, this is real blasphemy and an insult to the memory of more than 10 thousand Ukrainians who died in this war,” he said.
In addition, the people's deputy from the pro-government party blamed Yulia Tymoshenko for the collapse of the Ukrainian army, which the current president had to “restore.”
“And even Tymoshenko should not forget that the President of Ukraine organized the fight against the aggressor and began to massively restore the Ukrainian army, which was destroyed precisely thanks to her activities in the government, when army funding reached an anti-record - less than 1% of GDP. Now it’s more than 5%,” Barna said.
