Tymoshenko blames Groysman for the crisis and demands his resignation, but Parubiy does not allow
The government of Vladimir Groysman is to blame for the crisis situation in Ukraine and he should be removed from his post. Yulia Tymoshenko (“Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc”) stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“What happened and is happening in Ukraine already goes beyond all borders. Inflation is growing simply immeasurably. Unemployment increased by 12,1% in the first months of this year alone. There is a further radical increase in tariffs. We were ranked among the ten poorest countries in the world. All this is a consequence of the policy pursued by the country’s president, the prime minister, the government and their majority in the Verkhovna Rada. Therefore, our faction wanted to introduce a draft resolution on the dismissal of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman. Unfortunately, the head of the Verkhovna Rada even blocked the registration of this resolution, which has not happened in all the years of work of the Verkhovna Rada,” Tymoshenko complained.
She also stated that her faction will continue to try to register the draft resolution on the resignation of Vladimir Groysman.
“We will go to court, we will insist on our position,” she said.
“Such a project cannot be registered, because parliament cannot fire the prime minister,” Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy commented on her speech.
