Tymoshenko officially announced her transition to opposition to Zelensky
The head of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, said that her faction is moving into opposition to power, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
She said this on November 13 after voting in the first reading for the land market bill.
“Our team announces the transition of the Batkivshchyna party to the opposition to the policy of destroying Ukraine, to the opposition to the policy of continuing the era of poverty. We declare opposition against the auction of all strategic assets of Ukraine, including land. We do not share this policy,” she said.
According to her, “Batkivshchyna” plans to submit a submission to the Constitutional Court to clarify Article 13 of the Constitution, which states that Ukrainian land is the property of the Ukrainian people.
In addition, Tymoshenko said that she would appeal the adoption of the law in the first reading in court, because it allegedly passed with violations of the regulations.
Let us recall that on November 13, the Verkhovna Rada voted in the first reading for draft law No. 2178-10 from the Servant of the People on the sale of agricultural land. The bill was supported only by people's deputies from the Servant of the People - 227 people's deputies and 13 non-factional parliamentarians. The majority of people's deputies from Batkivshyna voted against the bill, unlike other factions, whose members chose to abstain or not vote at all.
