Kyiv, September 08 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - Yulia Tymoshenko made it clear that she was not satisfied with the ceasefire agreements in Donbass, signed in Minsk, and emphasized that she agreed to peace only if the other side retreats to Russia.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, she said this while speaking to her supporters during a meeting where an initiative group to collect signatures for holding a referendum on Ukraine’s accession to NATO was registered.

“Any negotiations and agreements on peace can be achieved only from the position of our national strength, without giving up a single inch of our land and without surrendering a single one of our strategic interests,” Tymoshenko said. “If the occupier is ready to retreat today under the pressure of sanctions from Western countries and under the pressure of our army, then let them leave our land, go to the Kremlin and build their lives there.”
She also believes that the agreements signed in Minsk “are of a dubious nature and cannot be the basis for strategic peace.”
“We will closely monitor the terms of the peace initiatives that will actually be used in the negotiations,” the politician assured. She also promised that “the voice of the largest party, which has excellent traditions, will be heard by the people.”
