“Many people in Ukraine do not like this clownery with the elections. A few months later the parliamentary campaign begins. Everything can still be fixed. This farce can be stopped. The Constitution was always violated, the president imposed his lobbying decisions on parliament through the force of security forces and the force of corruption, and influenced parliament. Now we have a short period of time before the end of the second round, when we can restore the Constitution with parliament, restore the balances and balances that the country needs,” the politician said.
She called for the immediate adoption of laws that “can remove the lack of control of the president,” in particular, she named the law on temporary investigative commissions.
“So that parliament has in its hands an instrument to control the corruption of any president. It is necessary to immediately adopt changes to the constitution to abolish the immunity of everyone - deputies, judges, the president. We must immediately adopt a law on parliamentary elections using a proportional system,” Tymoshenko demanded.
