Kyiv, October 3 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – During a visit to the Kherson region, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko called for strengthening the defense of Kherson in connection with possible Russian aggression, the Kherson + TV channel reports.

“Here, in Kherson, there are two very important strategic sites in which Russia is extremely interested. Firstly, this is the North Crimean Canal, and secondly, it is an important electricity supply hub. The Kherson region must be completely protected. It is necessary to immediately place regular army bases on the borders of the Kherson region and increase the protection of our borders in the Kherson region several times,” Tymoshenko believes.

The former prime minister also called for improving supplies for the Ukrainian military and especially border guards.
