Tymoshenko: Putin can seize Kyiv, there are already tens of thousands of plainclothes agents here
There are already several tens of thousands of people in Kyiv who will support Russian troops if they suddenly appear in the Ukrainian capital, as happened in 2014 in Crimea. Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko shared these concerns on the ICTV channel.
She emphasized that she condemns the riots that arose during the march of Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters who tried to seize the October Palace. According to Tymoshenko, Russia can take advantage of the street unrest.

“I condemn the excitement in the country at a time when such excitement in the center of the city can be taken advantage of by an occupying country in three minutes. Today we have tens of thousands of people in civilian clothes walking around Kyiv, who are exactly the same little green men as they were in Crimea, and when the seizure of Donbass began. And it’s very scary if there’s chaos…” Tymoshenko said.
The presenter asked her to clarify whether we were talking about tens of thousands of Russian military personnel in Kyiv, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“These are civilian people, but at the moment when the command is given, I am sure, this is my inner confidence and, among other things, partial knowledge - these tens of thousands, in fact, will join what, among other things, can end with the capture of Kyiv,” Tymoshenko said.
