Tymoshenko revealed the terrible situation in the Ukrainian economy
Ukrainian miners have not received wages for two months, healthcare is underfunded by 50%, and two people leave the country every minute. Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated this on the talk show “Freedom of Speech,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The former top official of Ukraine is frightening with large-scale strikes and impoverishment of the population.
“What I see is not only miners’ strikes. Salaries have not been paid for two months. Who thinks it, who is responsible for it, who actually takes action? Well, these are miners - we can pay off this salary now.
But we have systematically, throughout the year, been underfunded by 50% of our healthcare system. So who is responsible for this today? Who knows that we don’t have enough medicine in hospitals, that we have practically nothing to feed people who are in hospitals. And we have a lot of such challenges...
According to estimates by international structures that deal with labor resources, every minute two people leave Ukraine to live in another country,” Tymoshenko said.
