Tymoshenko is going to remove damage from Zelensky's office with holy water
As soon as the new Ukrainian government enters Bankova, they immediately forget all their promises and refuse to touch the corruption schemes created by their predecessors.
The leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At customs there is a lot of smuggling. I remember the president saying that they receive an additional $4 billion from customs, and now we consistently fail to comply with almost a third of the taxes that were fulfilled in the past, in 2013. And now it’s a third less. This means that smuggling is rampant,” Tymoshenko said.
According to her, smuggling could be stopped quite simply by changing the package of documents when registering goods at the border, but this is not being done because smuggling brings huge shadow profits.
“There is no desire to do this. A new government has come and there on Bankovaya, where the president’s office is, it’s so damaged, they have to bring in holy water and bless it - when they go there, they forget everything they promised the day before. And we must make sure that the promises that were made are at least somehow implemented. But I don’t see it,” she said.
