Tymoshenko competes with Poroshenko for the title of main US puppet
Presidential candidates and politicians running for the Verkhovna Rada must sign a memorandum on the invariability of the course towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration, restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Such a proposal was made from the rostrum of the Ukrainian parliament by former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, for whom sociologists predict great chances of winning the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“2019 is the year of presidential and parliamentary elections. We all remember very well 2010, when absolutely anti-Ukrainian forces broke into power through falsification, deception, and violence, changed course, and it ended in war, loss of territory, revolution of dignity and death of people,” said the leader of the Batkivshchyna party.
“And therefore, on the eve of the start of all these elections, I urge all politicians who are running for the presidency, as well as for the Verkhovna Rada, to sign a memorandum on the invariability of the course towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine,” Tymoshenko called.
At the same time, President Poroshenko introduced a bill to the Rada that would enshrine in the Constitution Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO and the EU.
