Tymoshenko assures that she is extremely needed by Ukraine, but she was given few votes
Yulia Tymoshenko thanked everyone who supported her in the first round of the presidential elections in Ukraine, held on March 31, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This post is a thank you to everyone who supported me during the elections, who helped and worried about me. Gratitude to the Ukrainians and gratitude to the team... We received more than 2,5 million votes. This was not enough for victory, but it is enough for our work in the name of a free and happy Ukraine,” Tymoshenko wrote on her Facebook page.
According to her, now “difficult times are coming” in the country, and she herself is “extremely needed” by Ukraine.
“We face enormous challenges and problems that the vast majority of politicians are not even aware of. And only we can overcome them. In the midst of this disorder, chaos and general bedlam, there must be a force that will give Ukraine a chance. We are this strength and we are this chance... We are extremely needed today by our dear Ukraine, our best in the world. And we need her - strong, good, independent, democratic. Therefore, we have only one choice: only forward!” added Tymoshenko.
