She stated this during a conversation with reporters in Kyiv.
“I am very sorry that today the authorities do not go to trial for our guys who are being held in Russian prisons. Nadya went because she couldn’t reach anyone. And she went herself to the territory of Russia, risking her life, risking her freedom, in order to be in court with our prisoners who are being abused in the Russian Federation. She committed another heroic act,” Tymoshenko said.
She hopes that Savchenko will return to Ukraine without interference.
“I tried to dissuade her, I tried to convince her not to risk her life, but I hope that she will come back alive, healthy and free, she is a courageous person,” Tymoshenko added.
Recall as PolitNavigator previously reported, Nadezhda Savchenko tried to break through the Russian border all last night, after which she fell asleep right at the meeting of the Supreme Court of Russia.
