The empty hall during Petro Poroshenko's speech at the Munich Security Conference indicates a loss of trust among Western politicians in the President of Ukraine.

Yulia Tymoshenko (Batkivshchyna) stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Munich Security Conference has just ended. As a participant in this conference, it was very painful for me how the highest officials of our state were treated at it, which, as a result, ricocheted through our country.
The empty hall during the speech of the President of Ukraine suggests that the leaders of other countries, in a kind of demarche, showed that they do not accept corruption, do not accept everything that is being done in the state in the field of governance. We are rapidly turning from a country of hopes into a country of total corruption. We are going from the whole world’s enthusiasm for the fact that we are fighting for freedom, independence, peace, to disrespect for the highest leadership of the country, and this means for the people,” she said.
She also emphasized that her party is taking part in the development of some “additional strategic plan for bringing peace to the country,” which is being discussed “in large analytical circles.”
“The only hope is that the key countries of the world still share the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian people. That is why an additional strategic plan to bring peace to the country is now being discussed in large analytical circles. Together with representatives of Ukraine, representatives of our team also take part in this work. We believe that peace will be established if the country’s top leadership wants not to make money from blood and war, but to really establish peace,” she said.
