Tymoshenkovites accuse Poroshenko of “backstage bargaining” with the Kremlin
Petro Poroshenko dreams of shifting the burden of Donbass onto the shoulders of UN peacekeepers and forgetting about it for half a century. Former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, representative of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party Andrei Senchenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Poroshenko’s messengers regularly communicate with the Kremlin to promote this idea.
“His biggest fake is the peacekeepers. Because today the probability of a UN peacekeeping mission appearing in Donbass in the format and with the mandate that would satisfy Ukraine is one millionth of a percent...
Poroshenko would be very happy to throw the entire Donbass onto the shoulders of UN peacekeepers for 50 years. Once a year he would ritually remember Crimea and say “our Crimea” and so on. And he and his gop company would continue to plunder the remaining territory of the country.
I think if Putin supported him on this issue, then Poroshenko would be as happy as possible. The behind-the-scenes bargaining, which, unfortunately, takes place between our government and the Kremlin, is precisely what they are dedicated to,” Senchenko said.
