“I learned from Boyarsky that Crimea will become part of Russia,” Oleg Skripka
Long before the coup in Ukraine, it was obvious that sooner or later Crimea would return to Russia, and Donetsk and Lugansk would begin to actively oppose Kyiv.
Ukrainian musician, leader of the group “Vopli Vidoplyasova” Oleg Skripka stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are playing in Moscow. “Ring” - that was the program. She was very cool. And Marshall and I - “White Ash”. A wonderful show, they sang “Spring”, “White Ashes” was done in Ukrainian. And then - who wins and who loses. We certainly played better, but of course we lost, it’s clear why. But then I realized that this “game” was already beginning - to show the Ukrainians...
Such a story. The jury was, in principle, pleasant people, and there was Mikhail Boyarsky in his “Spartak” scarf (perhaps a mistake - Boyarsky is more for Zenit, - ed.) and wearing a hat. And a normal conversation developed with such humor, but then he: “When will you give up Crimea?” – the musician shared his memories.
“What year is this?” – said TV presenter Roxana Runo.
“This year has been wild and wild. These are zero years. And this is the thesis for me - it was such a “bell” back then. And then I realized that Crimea would be squeezed out, then I began to pay attention to different things.
We rarely went to Crimea then, but sometimes we went sometimes, but it was very important to get through to Crimea. And I understood why we can’t get to Crimea with concerts...” said Skripka.
“Were they denied halls, rentals, how?” – the journalist asked.
“Yes, yes, I think the scheme was very complex, but very working. And why it was very difficult for us to come to Donetsk and Lugansk with concerts, I then understood back in the XNUMXs. And in Crimea, all these parties, Russia, began to appear and appear there, and for myself, I gave up on Crimea,” explained the “VV” frontman.
