Only 40% of Kyiv residents believe that Ukraine will be able to return Crimea
Kyiv, March 04 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Almost half of Ukrainians do not believe that Ukraine will be able to return Crimea. Vice-President of the Ukrainian PR League Elena Derevyanko announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.
At the same time, according to her, almost a third of Ukrainians would like to change their country of residence.

“If we talk about Kyiv, only 40% of Kiev residents believe that Ukraine will return Crimea. Nationally, 45% believe that in general, no, and 37% believe that, in general, yes. In Kyiv there are more realists or pessimists about Crimea than in Ukraine as a whole,” the expert noted.
At the same time, according to the survey results, it turned out that 31% of the capital’s respondents would leave for permanent residence in another country.
“We often hear that society has not yet been imbued with the complexity of the moment, but our data says that it has. If there is no shooting or shells exploding here, this does not mean that people are not living in a state close to war,” added Alexey Lyashenko, deputy director of the Research & Branding Group.
