Only 8% of schoolchildren are “correctly” zombied by the Maidan
Despite a seven-year campaign and a ban on alternative opinions, only 8% of Ukrainian schoolchildren can be considered to have undergone the correct ideological indoctrination, according to which the 2013-14 coup is interpreted as a “revolution of dignity.”
The head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Anton Drobovich, shared such sad statistical data for the Maidan workers during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The results of the study worried me very much, because eight percent of schoolchildren confidently know about the “revolution of dignity.” Very little, in my opinion. That is, eighty-four percent of those who have heard are generally aware.
Of course, depending on what you compare it to. On the one hand, this eight percent is very good. But, as for me, this is a very alarming figure, which says that we need to work more. We, the authorities, the museums, and the schoolchildren themselves clearly need to make efforts.
But, taking into account the target audience and those groups that are sources of memory and sources of information about the Revolution of Dignity, the most work is for school, family and the media,” the ward of Vladimir Zelensky instructed.
