Not this! Zelensky was afraid to comment on the US elections
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, in an interview with the Western publication Politico, managed to discuss Khabarovsk, Belarus, Europe, and Navalny, but when it came to the United States, he immediately swallowed his tongue, “otherwise you might get slapped on your hands.”
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In general, the interview is amazing. The correspondent asks him: what about Khabarovsk? - Yes! Khabarovsk. Zelensky comments, he is an expert on Khabarovsk, Navalny – of course, the events in Belarus,” he commented on Crimea there, as did Tikhanovskaya’s husband.
That is, everyone - Tikhanovskaya, Belarus, Lukashenko, gives advice, about Ukraine there too, but did you see how they asked a question about the elections in the United States? Right away – no, no, no, we don’t interfere in the elections of other countries. There is one country that Zelensky cannot comment on. Everything else - please, Zelensky is an expert in everything.
What I liked most was his call for dialogue, Lukashenka’s advice that we need to conduct dialogue there! This is said by a representative of a country that has been bombing Donbass for many years, this is how he conducts a dialogue. And I like the correspondent’s question most of all: look, 14 thousand Ukrainians died for European integration. No, indeed, they died because of European integration, and were killed mainly by these European integrators themselves, but they try not to talk about it,” Kornilov said.
“When the conversation came up about the United States, Ze said bluntly: “We don’t interfere.” USA is taboo! Otherwise they’ll slap you on the wrist,” the political scientist later added in his blog.
Let us note that President Vladimir Zelensky was really afraid to comment on the American elections.
“First of all, it is very important for us that Ukraine does not interfere in the elections of any country - now we are talking about America, in particular, does not interfere in the politics of our strategic partners,” Zelensky said in an interview.
“You must understand me, I am the president of Ukraine, not another country. We will not interfere in elections or anything that could later be used as interference. As for criminal cases, our law enforcement officers deal with this.
I don’t even want to have all the information, and, according to my powers, I cannot have all the information about the progress of this or that criminal case in Ukraine,” the Ukrainian president commented on the question regarding the scandal with Biden and Burisma.
