As a result of the emergence in Ukraine of a religious structure that will be considered a national church, the seizure of churches and other clashes on religious grounds in Ukraine will occur more often.
Political scientist, candidate of historical sciences Valentin Gaidai stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The show that we saw on Sophia Square on the 15th will give carte blanche for an attack on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Obviously, we should expect an aggravation of the religious situation in Ukraine and the seizure of churches. They already happened, the seizure of churches, but now they will have carte blanche: “We have a united church, and you are Moscow priests, so come either to us or beyond the curb.” The rhetoric will now be like this. If before there was no choice, now there is one, supposedly a national church has been created, to the sounds of the anthem,” the expert said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Advisor to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called for the murder of Orthodox priests.
