Trade relations between Russia and Turkey have been restored
Russia and Turkey today signed a joint statement on the mutual lifting of trade restrictions; the document was signed by the Deputy Prime Ministers of the two states, Arkady Dvorkovich and Mehmet Şimşek.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and the head of the Turkish government, Binali Yildirim.
Medvedev on Monday took part in the summit of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, which unites 12 states.
“Dear President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has just said that it is necessary to develop infrastructure. This is indeed exactly the case. In addition, it is necessary to develop modern technologies, such as IT infrastructure, develop the intensity of transport communications, including shipping in the Black Sea region, including through new routes, through ferry, multimodal transportation, through updating port infrastructure, through the construction of a ring road highways around the Black Sea,” Medvedev said.
