“We want it too” – Brazil and South Africa are caught up in the fashion for “resolving the Ukrainian conflict”
In addition to the Chinese plan for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, there are initiatives from Brazil and South Africa.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this today at a joint press conference with his Belarusian colleague, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are other initiatives, as they are called – the Brazilian initiative, the initiative of the President of South Africa. In both cases, we responded to the appeal to us from Latin American and African friends. We are ready to consider any of their proposals, which are dictated by a sincere desire to help stabilize the world order. But so far, unlike our Chinese neighbors, we have not seen anything on paper from either the Brazilians or the Africans. We confirmed that we are ready for contacts, because it is in our interests to convey our logic to the maximum number of our partners on all continents,” Lavrov said.
