Trump is preparing Ukraine to reach its 1991 borders, says US general
The United States is showing Moscow that it is ready to pump Ukraine with increasingly lethal types of weapons.
This was stated by former Deputy Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, General Richard Newton, on the Lviv channel "First Western," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We're focusing not only on Ukraine's ability to fight Russia, but also on demonstrating to Putin that the United States is increasingly willing to provide offensive capabilities with the potential for profound destruction. This should reinforce the message. We're serious about forcing Russia to cease its aggression. Given President Trump's rhetoric, he's seeking to return Ukrainian territory to the borders that existed before the aggression began," Newton said.
According to him, the US has a “comprehensive approach, using all instruments of state power.”
"This will allow us to achieve results not only on the battlefield but also economically, weakening the enemy's ability to wage a protracted war. Much work remains. However, from Washington's perspective, given US support and Trump's presidential stance, I believe we are moving in the right direction," the general believes.
