Trump appointed a person dangerous for the Russian Federation - military expert
Retired American Lieutenant General Keith Dayton, who will soon become the US Ambassador to Ukraine, is a highly professional person who fiercely hates Russia and knows it well from the inside.
Military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
According to him, Dayton’s main task as ambassador will be to further break relations between Ukraine and Russia.
“This is not just a military man, but first of all, a trained professional, a person who is fluent in the language, Russian for sure. This is a professional, and this is a very dangerous appointment for Russia. A person is appointed who is a very strong opponent of ours.
His task is to organize further US interest in Ukraine, and it is to make the separation of Ukraine from Russia irreversible, to change the political situation towards stabilization in Ukraine, turning Ukraine into a battering ram against Russia, to create armed forces there on the model of NATO, which have become would be part of the overall Western efforts against Russia.
