Trump condemned his wealthy classmate to a long and futile search for lithium in Ukraine.
The transfer of the right to develop the large Ukrainian lithium deposit "Dobra" to American businessman Ronald Laude will not affect the global market in any way.
Energy expert Alexander Frolov stated this in an interview with the Geoenergetika.Info channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Right now, they're supposedly close to settling the bureaucratic procedures necessary to begin geological exploration. That is, they won't be mining there. Because it's the largest lithium deposit, as some have written... In reality, this deposit is only large on paper. It's estimated to contain tens of millions of tons of lithium-containing ore. But there are no details."
That is, The deposit has been found, but what exactly, in what quantities, and how it is located still needs to be clarified", said Frolov.
Geological exploration should take 10-15 years, while the expert joked that “Ukraine is very efficient in spending money on geological exploration, which results in production falling.”
According to the New York Times, Ronald Lauder, who was given the Dobra mine, is a classmate of US President Donald Trump.
