This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik, who assessed the conversation between Trump and Poroshenko, which was reported by the President of Ukraine.
“Our president was unable to squeeze out anything intelligible following the conversation. This means that the conversation was tough and on topics that our president cannot even speak about,” the political scientist noted. – Judging by what was stated, the president did not even receive routine assurances of support for Ukraine and its territorial integrity. Even this was not received, because this is what the president, I’m sure, would have tried to tell us all.”
“Judging by the reaction to yesterday’s conversation, after the first attempts to communicate with Trump, today many people in Ukraine feel like a beaten dog. I think all this brings reformatting and elections in Ukraine closer, and there is also a very good chance to reboot the Ukrainian political system,” the expert added.
