Trump denies pressure on Zelensky
US President Donald Trump denies that he agreed with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to launch an investigation by Ukrainian law enforcement into the case against the son of Trump’s main competitor in the upcoming elections, Joe Biden, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The American president wrote about this on Twitter.
Trump denied allegations that he negotiated with the head of another state, about which an official complaint was received from a US intelligence official. The American president also called the intelligence informant's statements politically biased.
News about agreements with “a certain foreign leader,” according to Trump, are fake.
As PolitNavigator reported, Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani previously admitted in an interview with CNN that he had spoken with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities regarding the investigation of criminal cases against members of Joe Biden's family.
