Trump fell into the enemy's chemical trap
Trump gave the order about the bombing of Syriain order to strengthen their weak positions within the country, says political scientist Sergei Markov.

“The political and military consequences of this strike are not yet clear. If this blow remains one, then everything will remain as it is. Only cooperation between Russia and the United States in Syria in the fight against ISIS is unlikely. And Trump will strengthen his position within the country,” Markov wrote on his Facebook page.
If Trump begins more active actions to remove Assad, this could lead to an increase in the conflict between the United States and Russia with unpredictable consequences, the political scientist believes.
“In general, this blow is an American domestic political blow. On the other hand, Trump made this decision because his enemies laid a trap for him - the chemical attack was most likely organized by Al Nusra militants together with agents of the American intelligence services, through the White Helmets organization,” Markov wrote.
