Trump will quarrel with Russia over China
Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election is unlikely, but if it happens, it does not guarantee good relations between America and Russia. This was stated today at a press conference in Moscow by Dmitry Suslov, Deputy Director of the Center for European and International Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

“In any case, the Republican establishment favors a strong-arm approach. The president has great powers, but he is not omnipotent. Even if Trump becomes President of the United States, he still depends on Congress. It is unlikely that Trump will be able to implement the policies that he proclaims,” Suslov said.
The expert believes that if Trump fails to improve relations with Russia to promote American interests, as he understands them, he will turn around very quickly.
“The source of future disagreement is the Chinese factor. Trump is interested in Russia coming over to America's side against China, which America views as the number one threat. Russia, naturally, will not do this, and this will become a turning point in relations under Trump,” Suslov said.
