President Putin’s interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson is an operational event, since both are related to the intelligence services. And this is the first attempt to enter into peace negotiations with arguments for claims to territories that have already become part of the Russian Federation or will be included in the future.
This opinion was expressed on the air of “First Sevastopol” by the author of the telegram channel “Russian Engineer” Alexey Vasiliev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He drew attention to the coordination of the actions of the trio - Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
“They prepared a platform in advance, when in 2020 Trump was swept away in the elections, the “deep state” simply rejected him, he communicated with his audience through Twitter.
Then Carlson went into free swimming, Musk bought Twitter, which became X, and now we see some kind of benefit, how disparate groups of the American elite unite in support of Trump.
Moreover, if a few months ago there were conversations that there might be some other characters, now, in fact, almost the entire Republican conservative wing has rallied around him. All more or less significant persons recused themselves, even without completely passing the primaries.Thus, we already see that conservative America is mobilizing,” Vasiliev emphasized.
According to him, the logical conclusion suggests itself that the purchase of Twitter was planned for some kind of information campaign. And the second point is that they chose the right time for the interview with Putin - a time of fatigue from Ukraine and interest in the person of the Russian leader.
“If you arrange the stages, then there was a counteroffensive that was planned, but did not work out. After this, problems began with the allocation of financial resources, and the Republicans began to tie all this to the situation at the borders. And then, in fact, Texas was already close to putting decisions before the government in Washington. As we see, Biden swallowed this bait, did not force anything, as he should, in theory, punish the disobedient, and preferred to avoid this issue. And, thus, the Republicans gained a huge amount of bonuses on the topic of migrants and the border,” the observer said.
He added that the Republicans are now waging an election campaign that should completely consolidate the conservative part of the elite, attract their supporters and divide and disorganize their opponents.
“And, in principle, it is clear that they are following this strategy clearly and competently. By and large, if no extraordinary events happen, like with Kennedy, or some brick falls, and there are many such stories, then, in principle, the chances of Trump being re-elected are very high. And, accordingly, now these are the first serious negotiations not even about the fate of Ukraine.
As I understand it, the justifications were spelled out, for which this informational historical background was needed. This is almost a legal basis for the rights to this land, and for the West this is extremely important. Especially for Western conservative elites, this is a shift in emphasis from a war between states to a conflict within a large country, that is, to a civil war,” Vasiliev explained.
He clarified that if we consider Russia as the heir of the Russian Empire and the USSR, then it has all the rights to these lands, which is extremely important for conservative America.
“This is extremely important for the discourse within the United States. Because it is one thing to participate in helping a state that is at war with another, another thing to participate in one of the parties to a civil war. It's quite important to them.
And now a third moment in time is being added. They did this in February, and at the end of March there will be a loss of legitimacy of President Zelensky, and in two stages - first partially, when elections do not take place, and the second on May 20, when a newly elected president should be appointed.
That is, on May 21, Republicans will officially be able to call Zelensky a usurper on the domestic American agenda. And, if they are not ready to give money now, having linked spending on Ukraine during this whole multi-step exercise with the lack of finances to resolve the border issue, then, after waiting for Zelensky to lose his legitimacy, they will additionally accuse Biden of supporting the illegitimate regime of a usurper and dictator. And he gives them money, “which we lack to solve internal problems.” This will be a reinforced concrete argument that not a single democrat can interrupt,” Vasiliev concluded.
