US President Donald Trump has publicly distanced himself from all members of his team with ties to Ukraine in order to preserve the Kiev regime. The famous criminologist Vladimir Ovchinsky stated this at a meeting of the Izborsk Club.

“He didn’t need to spin the situation in Ukraine. This would mean sweeping away the Ukrainian regime. He got rid of everyone who had at least some information on Ukraine, he transferred them to the category of enemies of America. He cleared a field for himself and covered his son-in-law,” Ovchinsky said.

Let us recall that last year, US Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller brought charges against Paul Manafort, a former adviser to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. According to the indictment, he “acted as an agent of foreign representatives in the interests of the government of Ukraine, the Party of Regions and Yanukovych.”
