Trump "made" Democrats get a donut hole

The Donald Trump administration has published a transcript of a telephone conversation between the US President and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. It turned out that in the conversation there was nothing compromising the current leader of the White House, as his opponents from the Democratic Party had hoped for, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The transcript was five pages long. The name of US Vice President Joe Biden appears several times in the text of the document. The material was compiled based on recordings of White House employees who were present in Trump's office during the conversation.

The document shows that Trump touched upon the investigation into the case of Joe Biden's son during a conversation with Zelensky. At the same time, as noted by the American media, Trump during the conversation did not link the further allocation of assistance to Ukraine with this.

"Something else. There is talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the proceedings (in Ukraine - Ed.), and many people want to know about it. Therefore, anything you could do on this issue with the Attorney General (on this topic - Ed.) would be good,” Trump said during the conversation.

“Biden went around bragging that he stopped the proceedings, so if you can do it...” the American president continued.

In response to this, Zelensky said that he was aware of this situation, and the new Prosecutor General of Ukraine would take up this matter.

The scandal was also commented on on his social network page by Kiev journalist Sergei Lyamets, who considers the story of the publication of the transcript of Zelensky’s conversation with Trump a tactical victory for the current head of the White House.

It was a trap after all. And the beaten, hardened democrats fell into it. They caught the rumor that during a telephone conversation with Zelensky, Trump several times specifically demanded an investigation against Joe Biden, the main candidate from the democrats.

Of course they believed it! Why not believe it if in 2016 they organized an investigation into Manafort to “bring down” Trump? Then US Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, NABU, a whole group of pro-dem activists, friendly media, and even ministers of the Ukrainian government took part in this story.

Since we, the knights of light and goodness, were scoundrels, then Trump can 100% be a scoundrel. It's written all over his face.

And the fuss began. Congress publicly requested a transcript of the conversation. Trump allegedly did not give it. They demanded even more. He didn't give any more. And then the meeting with Zelensky in New York was already approaching...

Democrats, rubbing their hands, began to prepare for Trump's impeachment.

And then the transcript appeared. And there is nothing in it. Instead of an explosive scandal, a donut hole appeared.

What to do? Admit your mistake? Too much ego is at stake.

And so, the Democrats impeach Trump. Why? Yes, because he put pressure on the President of Ukraine. Could this happen? Well, of course.

This is called “putting a good face on a bad game.” The tactics are correct, if only because the Democratic support does not want to hear about defeats - it only wants to hear about victories.

Earlier today it became known about Trump’s meeting with Zelensky during the latter’s visit to the UN General Assembly. It is noted that the presidents met with their families, as Zelensky’s press secretary Yulia Mendel reported on Twitter.

“Vladimir and Elena Zelensky spoke with Donald Trump and Melania Trump at an official reception organized by the President and First Lady of the United States. Today the presidents have a bilateral meeting!” - said the press secretary.

At the same time, in Ukraine itself, many criticize Zelensky’s visit as unsuccessful, especially with regard to his official speech at the UN General Assembly, in which he repeated most of the rhetorical cliches of the era of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko.
