Trump called on to give Poroshenko a “political kick”
Ukrainian President Poroshenko irritates Donald Trump, while he perceives Vladimir Putin as a person with whom he needs to negotiate.
Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko stated this on air on the Russia-1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Trump would recognize Crimea as Russian and give Poroshenko a good political kick for prevention. I am absolutely sure, feeling Trump’s mentality, that Poroshenko causes him at least very strong irritation, and Putin, on the contrary, gives him respect, they can talk,” the expert said.
At the same time, Korotchenko noted that he has no illusions about a radical change in the American course.
“The meaning of Trump’s policy is to work for the States; for America he is a very good president. For us, on the one hand, it is convenient, on the other hand, it is not. It is clear that America will not change its program goals. But in a situation where they understand that hitting a bulldozer will mean that the bulldozer will be broken, they can negotiate,” added Igor Korotchenko.
