“Taking into account that the construction of a transport crossing (bridge or tunnel) across the Kerch Strait, which will become our main transport artery, will last several years, next year we intend to make maximum use of all existing ports, clearly building transport logistics with the separation of transport flows - passenger and cargo “- writes Aksenov in his article for RG.

“We are thinking about the variety of options for port shipments both from the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov region (Port Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog) and from the Crimea (Kerch, Feodosia, Yalta, Sevastopol, Evpatoria) . In addition, the government of the republic intends to create a shipping company based on public-private partnership, and also pay the most serious attention to the reconstruction of port facilities and coastal infrastructure,” the Prime Minister of Crimea clarifies.

“The airfield complexes of Simferopol and Belbek airports (near Sevastopol) will be reconstructed, which will also affect the growth of passenger traffic. The issue of complete reconstruction of the airport in Kerch is also being considered,” writes Aksenov.

“I can assure all Russians that next year they will see fundamental changes in the transport sector,” sums up the prime minister.
