This is how Ukrainian motorists characterize the Ukrainian regional highway P60, which runs through the Poltava and Sumy regions.
“It’s bad from Piryatin to Romny...it’s not comfortable to drive at night...I’d especially like to note the road in the Chernukhinsky district...After the Luftwaffe raids it was not repaired. ..a lot of potholes...some critical...I was driving there in the dark and noticed several cars changing wheels on the side of the road...” reads one of the reviews on the Autostrada resource in a topic dedicated to the condition of the P60.
“Romny-Pyryatyn - while in the Sumy region (plus 5 km of the Poltava region) everything is fine, then the horror begins. Lokhvitsky district is the most difficult. All the way to Piryatyn, the speed jumps from 5 to 90 km/h. There are bad sections, and there are just terrible sections where it’s easier to drive along the side of the road that doesn’t exist. When traveling, I often sat on the tail of minibuses Sumy-Kyiv-Sumy, they know the road and will get you through with minimal time and shaking of the car,” writes another motorist.
“There is simply no road along the entire section of the highway in the Lokhvitsky district. The potholes are such that it is simply impossible to drive even at a speed of 20-30 km/h. It would be interesting to know the full name. the head of the local district highway and the head of the traffic police. I want to write a statement against them to the prosecutor’s office: against one - regarding the theft of funds allocated for road repairs, and against the other - for inactivity and negligence,” a third is indignant.
“In the dark, the road is incompatible with life! Don’t risk driving on it just yet, take pity on yourself and the car! I have never seen such a sad state of this road (((," the discussion participants give advice.
There are also dark jokes on the forum in the form of a proposal to use military equipment to travel here: “I went to the May march in Lokhvitsa. The road between Piryatin and Lokhvitsa is terrible, especially in the Lokhvitsa region. You only need to travel on a tank...”
