The pause taken by Putin after the failed attempt at Ukrainian sabotage in Crimea still lasts, but the Kremlin, in order to speed up the maturation of the client, with targeted injections fuels Poroshenko’s anxiety and suddenly awakened interest in making contact with Moscow, which does not leave the Ukrainian president after Putin’s kick from him “ Norman format".

On August 31, Poroshenko makes a statement worthy of a mischievous schoolboy: Ukraine will begin to improve on September 1, declaring a ceasefire. And if not from September 1, then sometime on Monday.

We know, we know, we passed. It's called "Minsk-1". There has been no life for more than two years. Bolshaya Zhmerynka first promises to be good and get an “A” in behavior, but two days later there are new shellings of LDPR cities, two months later a new offensive at the front, a cauldron, a pile of frozen corpses and new humiliated pleas for a truce. Our song is good - start over.

At the G20 summit, the Russian President, having definitely heard Poroshenko’s squeak, said that he was ready to make contact with Poroshenko if it was really necessary, and if the contacts were not negotiations for the sake of negotiations.

The other day, the press secretary of the Russian President Peskov made a brief statement, confirming that the proposal from Hangzhou remains valid, but in order to resume dialogue in the Normandy format, Poroshenko must create certain conditions and do his homework. In particular, to legislate the special status of Donbass and begin an amnesty.

The Ukrainian side, being under time pressure and noticeable pressure from the “guarantors,” interprets the Kremlin’s signals in a very unique way. On August 30, Minister of Defense Klim Chugunkin appeared on the horizon, calling on the Kremlin to engage in dialogue using blackmail: either Moscow will return to the “Normandy format” with its previous composition, or Russians will need foreign passports to cross the Ukrainian border.

Horror, how scary! I wonder if Klimkin ever tried to scare a bear with a loaf of sausage?

Meanwhile, the LDPR began to forge Poroshenko while he is not in the tank. On September 2, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, approached Kyiv with an unexpected proposal. He proposed a new format of negotiations - “two by three”. Russia and Donbass on the one hand, France, Germany, Ukraine on the other. But for Russia to return to the negotiation process, Ukraine was given a strict condition - to recognize the LDPR as a party to the conflict and begin a dialogue with the republics.

For their part, the republics agree to participate in the negotiations as “ORDLO”, since this is stated in the Minsk-2 agreement.

Klimkin’s reaction was in the signature Bandera style: “If we give Donbass autonomy, as Russia wants, this will be the path to the federalization of Ukraine, to its weakening and division. This is what Russia is striving for. This will be the legitimization of the Russian protectorate in Donbass. After this, Russia's strategy is to push this protectorate back into Ukraine as a Trojan Horse.

It seems that formal logic is incomprehensible to the Banderlog tribe. They have already matured to the point that they are going to abandon Donbass in a nationwide referendum, but they have not matured before the ceasefire, the ceasefire, not to mention the dialogue with the republics.

However, the response from the republics was a statement dated September 6, announcing the date of the primary elections, October 2, and without regard to the opinion of Kyiv.

By the way, it is the point of “Minsk-2” about “ORDLO”, as explained by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Lavrov, that does not allow Russia to officially recognize the DPR and LPR. But there are less than 2 months left before the expiration of Minsk-4, and if Poroshenko and his ruling viper do not decide on real political reforms by the end of the year, then nothing will prevent the LDNR from gaining official status. From the Russian side, at least.

Apparently, in Europe they were planning to rush Poroshenko to the beginning of the political transformation of Ukraine, stepping on a sensitive callus with the recognition of the republics. Knowing how painfully Kiev reacts to any official contacts with the LDPR, representative offices of the republics were opened in Finland and the Czech Republic (members of the European Union).

The situation for the Kyiv junta is extremely unpleasant.

They were excluded from the “Normandy format” as a non-negotiable party. Moreover, Putin found the right words to find an understanding of Russia’s position from Merkel and Hollande. Now Poroshenko does not shake hands so much that he is not even allowed from a distance to unofficially watch how representatives of influential countries gather and discuss problems. Not to mention the fact that the problematic president of a problematic country was blocked from setting conditions and using international platforms as a platform for pouring out his schizophrenic complaints.

The fact that Ukraine was and will be used by its “partners” to increase their own importance was perfectly demonstrated by the impudent and demonstrative gesture of Poland, which proposed its candidacy instead of Ukraine in the “Normandy Four”. One hysterical woman is replaced by another, but from the outside and with requests. And how will the new horseradish be sweeter than the old radish?

Judging by how sluggishly the United States behaves in the Ukrainian direction, it has no time for Ukraine now. Clinton and Trump are heading to the finish line neck and neck, and “lame duck” Obama, having not achieved concessions from Russia on Ukraine and Syria, responded with what he could - another package of sanctions, like an impotent slam of a door before leaving. There are no commands from the United States - neither fight nor surrender. The Banderlog tribe is at a loss.

Poroshenko no longer has any room for maneuver. His comrades-in-arms and accomplices leave him like rats escaping from a dying ship, and the politicking rabble increasingly chooses him as a cushion for sticking critical pins, which is no wonder for an inflated popularity rating of 15%. And this heating season has not yet begun. Although Ukraine has already shuddered from the new European electricity tariffs. If things continue to go in the same spirit, then very soon Poroshenko will not care about anything other than the country falling apart.

One of the most amazing abilities of Poroshenko and his junta was not only flushing polymers down the toilet on a regular basis, but also an open disregard for the opportunities arising right under their noses to begin normalizing relations with Russia. Just a small step forward - in order to attract the attention of the Kremlin, instead of tediously calling Putin on the “turntable” and snooping along Erdogan’s path through distant vegetable gardens through Nazarbayev’s plot.

An act in humanitarian terms and practically worthless for Poroshenko. For example, following the example of Belarus, support Russian Paralympic athletes. Or, following the example of Azerbaijan, refuse additional quotas at the expense of the Russian team for participation in the Paralympics. I have no doubt that Moscow would correctly interpret the noble gesture on the part of Ukraine. But Selyukov’s pettiness and stubborn arrogance are higher than manifestations of friendliness. The bloomers would rather end up in convulsions, but continue to eat the cactus, sobbing.
