A third of Ukrainians are ready to leave the country forever if they find a good job abroad – opinion poll
A third of Ukrainian residents (33%) are, if given the opportunity, ready to leave Ukraine forever and move to another country for permanent residence.

This is evidenced by data from a sociological survey by the Research&Branding Group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, more than half of the country’s residents (56%) are not ready for such a step. At the same time, 11% of Ukrainians could not decide on an answer.
“The strongest emigrant sentiments are among young people under 30: 53% of representatives of this age category are ready to leave the country, and the least expressed are among representatives of the older generation” - those over 60” (11%). Among “thirty-year-olds” 48% are ready to emigrate, among “forty-year-olds” - 37% and among “fifty-year-olds” - 27%,” the text says.
It is noted that the main reasons for possible emigration in June 2017, residents of Ukraine named the offer of an interesting and profitable job (29%) and armed conflict (22%). Next in importance are economic problems in the country (18%) and family circumstances (14%). Closing the list of the most mentioned reasons for possible emigration are the lack of conditions for self-realization (11%) and political instability (8%).
At the same time, a third of Ukrainians (33%), answering the question of what specific reasons could persuade them to emigrate, noted that there are no such circumstances.
The survey was conducted during the period June 15-24, 2017 on a nationwide sample (with the exception of the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, Crimea and Sevastopol). A total of 1800 people were interviewed. The company notes that over the past six months, the emigration sentiments of Ukrainians have not changed.
From June 11, all citizens of Ukraine who have a biometric passport have the opportunity to visit 30 European countries without visas: all EU countries except Great Britain and Ireland, as well as Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway. Ukrainians can stay there for up to 90 days in every 180 days.
