The newest frigate of the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Makarov, commissioned just two months ago, stood in parade formation in the center of St. Petersburg on the eve of festive events dedicated to Russian Navy Day.

This ship, armed with Caliber missiles, will move south to Crimea in the fall. Now two more frigates of this series are based in Sevastopol.
Residents of St. Petersburg can also see the corvette “Stoikiy”, which became part of the Baltic Fleet in 2012, in parade formation.
