The nationalists initially held a meeting on the Maidan, from where they headed to Grushevsky Street, where they intended, like three years ago, to light tires to show that they were dissatisfied with the regime of Petro Poroshenko, as well as with the overthrown Viktor Yanukovych.
However, the militants failed to set fire to the tires; after a short scuffle with the police, the nationalists lost all the prepared tires.
The security forces did not disperse the radicals themselves, but lined up nearby. Angry nationalists shouted after them “Garbage!” and his traditional cry “death to the enemies!”
At the end, the militants sang the Ukrainian anthem in unison and once again shouted “fuck the garbage!”, promising that a new revolution in Kyiv is just around the corner.
